Gooutdoor strongly believes in protecting the confidentiality of the personal details of its Users.

Gooutdoor is an online platform that advertises guided outdoor Experiences. Gooutdoor allows Customers to book these Experiences directly from the Proguides, professional guides for outdoor activities.

Processing methods and purposes 

Your personal data will be processed using automated tools for purposes strictly tied to the consultation and use of the website www.gooutdoor.it, as well as for other purposes that are related and/or instrumental thereto. The Data Controller will also adopt all the security measures required by Legislative Decree No. 196/2003 (Privacy Code) and the Technical specifications regarding minimum security measures (Annex B to the Privacy Code) to prevent data loss, their illicit or improper use and unauthorised access.

Provision of data

Except as specifically provided for website browsing data, the User is free to choose whether to disclose the personal data requested in the various forms of the web services available on the website (e.g. registration on the website, mailing list, etc.).

The provision of data is optional, however refusal to provide them or to authorise their processing will make it impossible to execute the contractual relationship.

Registration on the website and the sending of personal data implies the expression of consent for the Data Controller to process the data for the purposes mentioned above.

Types of personal data processed 

The personal data collected are only those which are necessary for Gooutdoor to achieve its purposes. They can be of different types and include but are not limited to:

a) personal data provided by the User (e.g. personal details useful for Registration on the Website, data provided when purchasing an outdoor experience, data provided when using the messaging system, data provided by email);

b) data collected automatically (i.e. when browsing, computer systems and software applications used to provide access to this website acquire, as part of their normal operation, some personal data whose transmission is implicit in the use of the communication protocols of the Internet. This information is not collected to be associated to identified Users, but by its very nature could, when processed and associated with data held by third parties, allow Users to be identified);

c) as regards the Proguides, data collected during Registration, when creating a User profile and publishing an Ad for an outdoor Experience.


Cookies enabled on this website do not store any sensitive data, but allow the Data Controller to collect information to improve the User’s browsing experience and the web services, and to develop new services related to the website.

More specifically, Gooutdoor uses the following types of cookies:

So-called session cookies, which are not stored permanently on the User’s computer and are deleted when the browser is closed. The use of these Cookies is strictly limited to transmitting session identifiers (consisting of random numbers generated by the server) necessary to allow safe and efficient browsing of the Website’s content. In particular, we use session cookies for the following purposes: to allow the user to duplicate information entered on the pages of the Website and avoid having to enter them more than once; to compile anonymous statistics that allow us to understand how Users use the Website and to improve its structure.

Cookies for auto-filling forms with the data provided by the User during a previous access to purchase a product/good/service offered by www.gooutdoor.it. The session Cookies used on this Website avoid using other techniques that are potentially prejudicial for the confidentiality of the User’s browsing session and do not allow the acquisition of personal identification data.

This Website uses Google Analytics, a data analysis service provided by Google, Inc. (“Google”) to improve access to web services and communication with users, estimate the level of internationalisation of users, and promote institutional activities so that they are in tune with the preferences of the different types of users. Google may transfer data collected to third parties where required by law. The data are collected only for institutional purposes and will never be sold for commercial purposes.

Third party services

We use the services offered by Paypal to manage payments from customers, in order to guarantee the maximum security and peace of mind of our Users. Paypal has access only to the personal details that are necessary for it to process payments. Please be assured that Paypal cannot use the data for any other purpose and is also required to process personal data in accordance with this privacy policy, and in accordance with the applicable laws on the protection of personal data.


Rights of data subjects 

The data subject (User) may at any time exercise the rights under art. 7 of Leg. Decree No. 196 of June 30, 2003, namely:

  • the right to obtain confirmation of the existence or not of personal data concerning him/her, even if not yet recorded, and their communication in intelligible form;
  • the right to obtain information a) about the origin of the personal data, b) about the purposes and methods of processing, c) about the logic applied in the case of data processed with the aid of electronic instruments, d) about the identity of the Data Controller and any assigned Data Processors, e) about the recipients or categories of recipients to whom the personal data may be communicated or who may come to knowledge of it as designated representatives in the territory of the State, Data Processors or persons in charge;
  • the right to obtain a) the updating, rectification or, when interested, integration of data, b) the deletion, transformation into anonymous form or blocking of data processed unlawfully, including data whose storage is unnecessary for the purposes for which the data were collected or subsequently processed, c) documented confirmation that the operations under letters a) and b) have been notified, also as regards their content, to those to whom the data were communicated or disseminated, unless this requirement proves unfeasible or involves a use of resources that is manifestly disproportionate to the protected right;
  • the right to object, in whole or in part and for legitimate reasons, to the processing of personal data concerning him/her.
