Excursion on the 3 Peaks of Bondone

A classic Bondon hike to do comfortably in one day. It does not have any particular technical difficulties and it is often also done by families with children. It is a hike that allows you to reach, from the Viote at 1565 m, the Cima Cornet (2180 m), the Doss d’Abram (2140 m) and the Cima Verde (2102 m), which represent the heart of Monte Bondone. From the summit of Cornet or Cima Verde you enjoy a spectacular panorama of 360 °. The route runs through the Monte Bondone Reserve Network and in particular at the boundaries of the Val Mana and Val di Merlo Integral Reserve. This geographical position makes the trail 3 peaks of Bondone one of the most beautiful trekking in the Trento area.
In 1915-1916, Cornetto also represented a defender of the city of Trento during the First World War. Even today the ruins of these defenses excavated under the summit can be visited!

Programma dettagliato

The meeting is held (except for different agreements) at 8.30 am at the Hut of the Viote (1565 m altitude) at Viote. The Viote can be reached from Trento in about 45 minutes, following SP85 Del Monte Bondone or SP85 bis (follow the indications Monte Bondone).
From the Viote on foot, take the O607 trail and in about 2 hours you reach the Cima Cornet at 2180 meters. Continue in the direction of Cima Verde following the O636 trail, and after passing the Doss d’Abraham at the base of its vertical rocky walls, with a breathtaking trail you reach the Cima Verde in about 1 hour and 15 minutes.
Always with the O636 trail in about 2 and a half hours we return to the Viote.
