From Sassolung to Val Duron

The excursion begins after reaching high altitude by the cable car of Col Rodella di Campitello di Fassa. Once we reach 2400 meters we will walk along a path on the slopes of the beautiful dolomite group of Sassolungo. Walking along simple high altitude trails, we will easily reach the Duron Pass where the homonymous valley begins. From the Pass we can reach, with a small detour, the Alpe di Tires hut and the lovely Terrarossa Teeth, from which we can enjoy a magnificent panorama on the Val Tires.
Once we get off from Val Duron we will meet some huts where we can taste some tasty local dishes.

Programma dettagliato

The meeting time is scheduled for 8.30 am at the Col Rodella of Campitello di Fassa. The excursion is suitable for people who are used to walking but does not require excessive workout. Lunch can be done in the sack or in one of the alpine hut we’ll meet along the way.
The price does not include the cable car ticket.
