The Red Horn is the great rocky wall that defines, on the edge of Vallesinella, the southern side of the Grosté Plateau. The name comes from the particular reddish color of this unusual wall in the Brenta Dolomites. Using the cable car to Grostè, we will quickly reach the starting point, shortly after, will begin the trail created in 1942 by Mr Bruno and Nella Detassis. The Red Horn is the great rocky wall that defines, on the edge of Vallesinella, the southern side of the Grosté Plateau. The name comes from the particular reddish color of this unusual wall in the Brenta Dolomites.
Using the cable car to Grostè, we will quickly reach the starting point, shortly after, will begin the trail created in 1942 by Mr Bruno and Nella Detassis.

Programma dettagliato

Meeting time: 7:30 am at the Alpine Guide Office in Malè. The meeting time can be modified and agreed upon with the guide depending on the different needs.
Expected return: 3 pm c.a.
The price includes the accompaniment of the Alpine guide, equipment rental (shoes, harness, boot). Lunch packs are needed.

The Gruppo Guide Alpine “Val di Sole” (Val di Sole’s Mountain Guides Team) was born in 1982 from a group of friend, all mountain-lovers, who decided to gather under a single “shield” all the Guide which were living in the valley.

Along the years there have been several changing among the team, and many have been the improvement from that first year. This website is our last news in terms of contacting people.

Hiking on the mountains, at any altitude, in any season, is the best way to discover the real heart of the mountains. This intense emotion must be felt in silence, in the middle of empty spaces, feeling free in front of wide horizons. Walking, hiking, climbing or skiing: in any case, it is a long way to find what nature has to offer you. A step-by-step path which can be made easier by the leading of an expert such as a Mountain Guide.

The leading of a mountain guide from the Val di Sole valley can really be what you are looking for: their experience, together with their knowledge of their native places, will give you much more than a simple guidance. It will be a fulfilling experience, because while you simply walk in the middle of nature, the guide will give you so many insight about history, people, places and so on that you will sure come back with a profound experience. Moreover, you will discover secret spots and places that only the guides are aware of, while being safe at any moment.
