Descrizione

The ferrata is a simple way of climbing. With the help of stairs, brackets and safety ropes you can climb the mountains as a true mountaineer. The Alpine Guide will teach you how to use the safety kit correctly and will help you with your rope, you will only think about having fun.
The Ferrata Roen is a suitable route for beginners and families, including children, who travel through the sunny east wall till the gentle ridge. From the summit, the scenery is wonderful. You can admire the Dolomites of Brenta, the Adamello with the Caré Alto, the Ortles, the Breonie Alps, the Aurine Alps, a wide area of the Dolomites and the entire Lagorai, in addition to a glimpse of the Val d’Adige with the city of Bolzano. The descent is on an easy trail to the parking lot.

Programma dettagliato

Meeting at 9.30 am at the Oltradige al Roen Refuge. Material inspection and equipment distribution.
Expected return: 12:30 pm c.a.
Directions: from Cavareno village reach the village of Amblar. Follow the signs for Rifugio Roen. A mostly asphalted road leads to the hut lawn (10 km from the village), here you park your car and on foot in 15 minutes you reach the Refuge.

From the top of Paganella with its walls and its slopes, to the Brenta Dolomites, and then the cliffs and rock faces on which to practice free climbing all year. The canyons where to go to have fun and cool off, the ice falls that for a few days a year with ice axes and crampons give unique emotions. And again: the ski mountaineering trips, off-piste, via ferrata, trails, mountain retreats, glaciers, everything one step away from home. I explored the whole Trentino and climbed in America, Asia, Africa and Oceania. With almost thirty years experience in mountaineering, I will lead you in the most stunning places in Trentino.
