Couloirs only for expert freeriders. In the Dolomites exists something particolar and special which is impossible to find in other skiing resorts: the possibility to ski down through steep couloirs setted between the vertical walls of the Dolomites. A unic experience and a big satisfy. This is a superb day of off-piste freeride for the adventurous skier looking to ski many of the legendary lines and couloirs in the Dolomites. The day will be led by alta fassa guides and should be a fantastic adventure as you explore the remarkable skiing and lines available just off the ski lifts. Average gradients are between 30 and 45 degrees. With the emphasis on the downhill many of the great couloirs are accessed by just a short hike or skin from the top of the lift making this a great trip for those adventurous skiers who prefer more down than up!

Programma dettagliato

For skiers in good and active physical health. Participants should be competent skiers with off-piste skiing experience, experienced in all kinds of snow conditions, and preferably able to do parallel turns in powder snow and linked stem turns in more difficult snow. The day is guided on a 1:4 ratio allowing for small groups which means time can be maximised on the descents and it offers flexibility in the event of challenging weather. We will visit the most famouse Locations: Forcella Sass Pordoi, Joél, Torrette, Col Alton, Sass de Forcia and Holzer. Meetingpoint at the cablecar Col Rodella – Campitello di Fassa
