The via ferrata of the Dolomites are an heritage of the First World War, as many of them were built at that time, on the border between the Austro-Hungarian Empire and the Kingdom of Italy, to allow fighters to reach the summits in a simple, fast and safe way.
The via Ferrata Masarè, built on the homonymous ridge, is considered one of the most beautiful via ferrata in the Dolomites. It will take us all around and on the southern crest of the Catinaccio massif, from which we can enjoy breathtaking views of the valley and the surrounding dolomitic peaks. It is an overly challenging hike and requires discreet physical training and, of course, and have no fear of heights.

Programma dettagliato

Meeting time: 7:30 am at the House of the Alpine Guides in Campitello.
Expected return: 3:30 pm
The price includes the accompaniment and instruction of the Alpine Guide and, if necessary, the ferrata kit (harness, ferrata lounge, helmet). Any transfer costs or ticket lifts will be charged to the participants.
NOTE: you must arrange for a lunch pack.
