Have you ever thought about doing a course for becoming a paragliding pilot? Or just try to fly, but never did it as you think that paragliding is dangerous? No problem, in both cases, the best formula is to try. Come to our training camp, (a grassy hill with a small slope) you can test with confidence what a student does the first day of the course. We will provide all the equipment. With forty years of experience that make us expert in this sector, will try to make you understand that paragliding is a wonderful experience. We look forward to see you at the Flying School Dolomites training camp!!

Programma dettagliato

All courses begin on the school field. The test day develops in stages:

  • Brief explanation that will focus on: how a paragliding works, why and how it flies.
  • Inflation tests on flat ground (so called the technique that allows to bring the wing on top of the pilot).
  • Inflation tests on a slight slope. You will be running with the wing above you, beginning to feel the upward traction. Now the wing begins to pull up more and more, here you can do short and small jumps. You begin to feel the sensation of flying.
  • Inflation test on a steep slope. At this stage you will set your shadow off the ground! The feeling of flying is strongly perceived. With a maximum high of five meters. You will clearly perceive that the glider is a very safe flying machine. You will find that to take off, fly and land will be the most fun thing you have ever done.

As this activity takes place outdoor at the school, we will need to evaluate weather conditions before flying. Once you booked we will remain in contact for details regarding weather conditions.
