The path “Bepi Zac” is an equipped trail along the Costabella ridge north of the San Pellegrino Pass. This war route offers great panoramic scenery ranging from Marmolada to the Pale of S. Martino, from Sella to Sassolungo, from Catinaccio to Latemar. These mountains were the scene of a bloody battle between the Austrian front and the Italian army. Descrizione

The path “Bepi Zac” is an equipped trail along the Costabella ridge north of the San Pellegrino Pass. This war route offers great panoramic scenery ranging from Marmolada to the Pale of S. Martino, from Sella to Sassolungo, from Catinaccio to Latemar. These mountains were the scene of a bloody battle between the Austrian front and the Italian army. It’s incredible the amount of pieces of iron, barbed wire, trenches that you meet along the way. All the ridge is full of caves, trunks, ditches, excavations, fortifications, remains of barges. This via ferrata is a condensed of history, culture and indelible memories.

Programma dettagliato

Meeting at 9:00 am at San Pellegrino Pass (Venice Hotel), check out equipment, climb with ski lift and from here the adventure begins!!
Return is scheduled for 4:00 pm
The price includes guide accompaniment, ferrata kit and ski lift ticket. There are no dining options so you have to arrange for a packed lunch.
The activity is organized and followed by an Alpine guide that will allow all participants to experience this ferrata in tranquillity and safety! We hope many of you will come!
