We offer you two days, in the company of an Alpine Guide, to learn how to tackle a glacier. The course will start with the basics on the use of crampons and ice axes, then deepen on different possible situations, such as securing in cracks, retrieving companions, moving technique on different slopes, rope behavior in an emergency. Descrizione

We offer you two days, in the company of an Alpine Guide, to learn how to tackle a glacier. The course will start with the basics on the use of crampons and ice axes, then deepen on different possible situations, such as securing in cracks, retrieving companions, moving technique on different slopes, rope behavior in an emergency. We will take the ski lifts to get up to Pass Paradiso and then walk to the Presena Glacier.

Programma dettagliato

1st – 2nd day
Meeting time: 8:30 am at Tonale Evolution Office. Check equipment and climb with ski lift.
Expected return: 5:00 pm
The price includes the accompaniment and instruction of the Alpine guide and all necessary equipment (ropes, crampons, ice ax, harness).
