All day, easy-going Cross Country tour around the magnificent Sassolungo group.
The Sassolungo Cross Country Tour is an easy ride. Starting from Campitello di Fassa we take the cable car of Col Rodella, through dirt roads we reach the Comici hut (2140m). Going downhill, the Sassolungo Group reaches Monte Pana (1650m). Then begins the uphill part, initially very light on easy dirt road, while the last part increases steeply and allows us to reach the Zallinger shelter (2030m). Before arriving at the Duron Pass (2180m) we will walk along a path between the rhododendrons along the ridge, in some parts uphill, while the final part is on a larger dirt road. From the Duron Pass, following the magnificent Alpine valley of the same name, we descend into Campitello.
Alternatively, before the Zallinger hut, we can take another facility to avoid the most demanding ascent of the tour.

Programma dettagliato

Meeting: 8.30 am Check Point Office in Campitello di Fassa
Return: Approx. 3.00 pm

It is planned to use 1 lifts (Colibri Col Rodella to Campitello) that is not included in the price.
Notes: Present yourself with your own bicycle or hire in excellent condition, gloves, backpack with anti-wind jacket, snacks and water. Obligatory helmet.
Difficulty level: MEDIUM / EASY. Good mountain bike riding skills are required.
