Description

Sunset has always its charm, but admiring it on the summit of a mountain makes it even more special. The excursion we suggest will allow you to reach one of the highest peaks of the plateau, Cima Vezzena or Piz de Levico, 1,908 m high and easy to reach, with a beautiful panoramic view of the Alta Valsugana. The route goes through a territory full of history, witnessed by strong Austro-Hungarian forts, such as Fort Verle and Fort Vezzena, the latter strategically placed on top of the mountain.
Admired the sunset we will descend towards the valley with front lights. We can then stop at the restaurant Baita Verlo or at Hotel Vezzena to have dinner together!
